Publicising
SOTA
We want
SOTA
to be a success and hope that you do too. To help thisprocess, we suggest the following tips:
|
Even if you only intend operating on CW, think about taking a 2m handy along for the ride as it is far easier to publicise the award on phone. Mention the award and web site (www.sota.org.uk) in any contacts that you make.
|
|
Ask your radio club to add a link to this page.
|
|
Chasers who have access to the DXCluster are invited to
spot
SOTA
stations
and in the comment field to include the
SOTA
web site address along with the summit reference.
|
Activators should also be prepared to explain what they are doing to non-amateurs thatthey meet on the hills - we hope that
SOTA
will intrigue and encourage newpeople into this hobby.
